What are the benefits of becoming a SuperNanny? Being a nanny is more than just a job providing financial rewards. You are responsible for the care and development of the children of busy, professional parents. You play an important role in their everyday lives. This experience is truly valuable for both you and the children you care for. What you can expect from your employer when you are placed through The SuperNanny Agency: - Accomodations: Live-in nannies' salaries include room and board. A separate bedroom is provided for the nanny's privacy. Most families also provide a private or semi-private bathroom.
- Weekly Salary: Expect a salary based on your age, experience, education, and job requirements. Salary range is generally $300-$1000 per week.
- Schedule: Nannies generally work 10-12 hour days, 3-5 days per week, depending on the family's needs.
- Off Days: Nannies are given all federal holidays off with pay, and the number of paid sick, vacation, and personal days allowed per year is outlined in the contract signed by both parties.
- Transportation: A car is sometimes available for the nanny's use, and if not, the nanny is reimbursed for gas and mileage used in her own vehicle when doing family business and activities.
- Travel: Many families travel frequently, and some have second (or more) homes. Nannies can expect to accompany these families on many occasions.
- Follow Up: The SuperNanny Agency calls to check in with our nannies AND the families they work for on a monthly basis to make sure the arrangements are still mutually satisfying to both parties and to confront any problems that may occur. Our nannies are also free to call us at any time with any questions or concerns that arise.
- Nanny Network: The SuperNanny Agency provides all of our nannies with a list of other nannies in their area so that they may establish a network of friends and colleagues.
